Sea of Leaves

I love how this picture perfectly describes Vancouver in the Autumn. The city is covered in muted tones and dull days. And yet I find myself smiling still because along with this are days that are warm(ish) and sunny. There are still flowers blooming and you can go out for walks with a warm sweater and gloves on.

Autumn back in Northern Ontario is a different picture. It is one with blazing colours and crisp coldness. While the colours are vivid and blinding sometimes it is balanced by November when the weather changes and the crispness harolds snow and cold noses. While I will always miss the contrast of Ontario, I will always choose flowers and sweaters anyday.
